The Jim and Suzi Best 8yr old Global Wonder has won three times on the AW at three different tracks on polytrack including here over 1m2f but didn't run any type of race a week ago for Oisin Murphy after a shock victory for today's claimer the race before. Aiden Brookes who gets on well with GW and also won at Brighton on Soft still has his 5lb claim and could bring up the hat-trick.
4yr old filly Cailin Saoirse has won three times over 7f at Southwell and Wolves with the last at Southwell on her latest outing in January when achieving a career best in a 6-runner handicap when keeping on well and winning by nearly 3L
Beauen Arrows achieved an even better RPR figure 7 days ago than my other fancy in this race when he went close in a CD novice last week when only beaten a neck by an odds on shot for a 7lb claimer. The 4yr old was nearly 4L clear of the third and with William Carson returning there is a good chance of getting off the mark at the 9th time of asking.

Ran over CD 19 days ago off 3lbs less when Prominent and then leading and even increasing the tempo from over 3f out only to be run out of it by 1L when headed in the final 100yds. Takes her place today off the same mark with Connor Beasley taking the ride. International Law is a good old stick and the 9yr old Grey has won 9 races from 85 runs from 1m to 1m 4f including seven wins on the all-weather. Stayed on over 1m3f 9 days ago at Southwell taking 3rd in the final strides and with the decent Harry Russell taking over is now 4lbs better off. |

Carries a 4lb penalty today for that success but is still well in on last years form. The 4yr old Huntsmans Moon has been no great shakes so far and best run was second here in December over 7f, not built on it since and is now 0-12, cheekpieces applied today for the first time and after running at 66/1 and 40/1 twice in recent runs more expected in this classified event. |

Wolverhampton 8-00 Bond Boy 17/2 BOG The Michael Appleby trained 4yr old BOND BOY has won three times from 7f to 1m 1f including twice here and at Chelmsford with a CD success on first win at the start of the year. Closely matched with the favourite Letmelivemylife on their Chelmsford race over this distance at the start of March when they ran off level weights and there was only a 1/2L between them and now my fancy has a 2lbs pull. Weakened the next day at Newcastle when the race came to soon and now the yard prefers Alistair Rawlinson over the 3lb claimer who won on BB last time. |

Had to take a mate to the hospital after the mares race Honeysuckle and missed last 2 races and all of Southwell, so missed all these winners. VWD Billy a shame it came in the Cheltenham week or you'd have loads of WDs, great picking Billy!
