As we wake to the possibility of further restrictions to our way of life I wanted to share my recent experience. I am lucky in terms of the stats. as I am an active woman in her 30s who plays a lot of sport and has no problematic health conditions. In fact, I`ve barely even had a cold and had never been to hospital other than to give birth before this year.
CV-19 changed all that. I contracted it and it was hell. I won`t go into the grim details but I was in hospital for 8 days and lost two stones very quickly. I didn`t think I`d make it. Thanks to the extraordinary NHS, however, I am still here and on the mend.
I must have seen 30-40 nurses/specialists/doctors recently, every single one of whom was passionate about social distancing and mask-wearing. Their observations regarding the non-believers and conspiracy mongers ranged from ridicule and derision to outright contempt and anger.
These professional people know what they are talking about and risk their lives for us every day as opposed to the armchair amateurs who have suddenly become experts on matters of health care. Please listen to those who deal with the situation first-hand every hour of every day and respect their opinions. Wear your mask and support your fellow men and women

With there being a member of the Royal household receiving education at Lambrook preppy school, one has to wonder how Mr Jonathan Perry the Headmaster of said establishment would view one of its male school masters masquerading as a woman on a betting forum, spouting lies, and entering into arguments that he has persisted with for over a decade, under various guises [all of them banned by the forum moderators].
