Anyone have an idea who will get the stable jockey role? Oisin? Marquand?

I think Gosden would love to have James Doyle. But would he leave Appleby? I could see Probert getting that job if James does decide to leave.

I'd put Benoit in as favourite.

Probert would be 10/1 to get that job, he is bang average as a rider

I thought maybe Billy Lee or Colin Keane might get nabbed from Ireland?

add a 0 to that gem...he isn't good enough to even be in the conversation imo & he probably wouldn't part with balding anyway

Remembering when Keane was 1/6 to get the Ballydoyle job a couple of seasons back after the rumour mill suggested he had been offered the job - it would not be a shock if he stepped in and Moore ended up with the Gosdens - though it must be noted the Keane / Ballydoyle  whispers happened during the periods when lockdowns and restrictive travelling rules were still in place and given the uncertainty that reigned it would have made sense at the time for them to install  a rider permanently residing in Ireland at the helm.

He should snap up Billy Loughnane.
It would be a backward step for Ryan Moore. Gosden is in decline as Thady gradually takes over

Harry Davies…..

A good few young riders could take the job

His ride on Noble Style last Summer will ensure he'll be in the reckoning for the job if James leaves for the Gosden gig. On the face it, winning on a 4/7F doesn't look anything special. But it was an excellent ride on a horse still learning his trade and a horse who still looked very green. IMVHO

Would not let him anywhere near the Gosden Job at this stage.....Tudhope would ride the guy to sleep for starters and i could think of another 10 who i think would be in front of young Rossa.

Well, Hollie Doyle was odds on favourite to take over, last summer..

As Mr Gosden said during t.v. interview after the French Oaks victory..
''It's quite obvious I'll be surplus to requirements quite soon, with the youthful Thady and Hollie.''..

Stoute snapped up Swinburn the promising one

I think Davies is the new kid……quiet, good speaker & makes few mistakes….

In the case of Swinburn, Stoute originally offered him an understudy position but when Peter Walwyn, who was in gradual decline at the time, offered the rider the job as his No 1, Stoute went in and  matched it.
