How do we get to the stage that the paying public are forking out 20 quid or so to watch a guy box whose Wiki page reads:

I recall an ex World Champion Randolph Turpin being reduced to taking part in wrestling contests in the 1960s which in a way was even worse than this. But people seem quite happy to pay for this nonsense.
