That Betfair Exchange ad is brilliant - very, very, very slow pictures here.

Oh, no, my mistake it turns out I was watching a replay from 2004 when they gave a sh1t!

The main problem is that most British fans do not think of Cheltenham in terms of Britain versus Ireland. It was the old Channel 4 team who latched on to it, along with the Prestbury Cup nonsense. I do not know how things look from the Irish side but remember the tricolour for an Irish winner came from the days when they won hardly anything.

Agreed, the Irish care desperately about it and want the English to care about it too, but we don't.

It's a bit like the City fans who desperately want the United fans to cheer on Liverpool when they play City instead of cheering on CityLaugh

I find it embarrassing to be honest when I see a group of owners (usually culchies - that's Country folk to you Englanders) jumping around the parade ring with the flag. Followed by the usual 'he's a great man (insert whoever the trainer is that's just won) nonsense.
