A colt that probably went into loads of notebooks last time, in what was his third run., after such an eye catching run. I have been keeping an eye on the entries and noticed its in a maiden on Saturday, in a restricted novice event. Really weird entry imo against a Balding hot pot and even more strange Paul Mulrennan has been booked to ride. Might be wrong but I can't remember him riding much for Fanshaw.
It hasn't been given a mark yet, seems odd and was wondering if that was the handicappers decision ? I'm assuming it was and why it needs to run again.
Have a look at the last run and see what you think and any info on the mark would ge much appreciated.

Have had a look, Dealer, yes a definite eye catcher, did appear to be ridden to get a nice low mark and h'capper obviously of the opinion that it could have run better. It's been brought along quietly, green 1st time out, better run 2nd time and looks open to a fair bit of improvement.
Wouldn't take to much notice of jockey booking as he rides 2 others for Goldie on the card, has ridden for Fanshawe occasionally and rode a winner and a 3rd for him from just 4 rides last year.
Fanshaws horses have ran well since beginning of December with 7 winners, 5 2nds and a 3rd from 30 runners, although he could have finished a lot closer or possibly have won that race the subsequent runs of horses from that race have been mediocre.
Interestingly its siblings both have won on the AW, one at Lingfield over 1m on its 4th run rated 78 and the other won on debut over 1m at Newcastle rated 80 now. Can't help with the opposition as haven't looked, probably best to see what the market thinks near the off, one thing that is definite is that it's a brilliantly named horse looking at the breeding.

I had noticed the breeding, they did well naming it. I wasn't aware of Mulrennan rides for the trainer.
It will just be a watching brief for me, not the type of race I would punt in.
