was testing it tbh too see if i could start a thread as i was having trouble responding to posts

all i was getting was the "log in to reply" message

It happens from time to time - why I couldn;t tell you.
I just have to wait until the glitch disappears/it sorts it self.
Sometimes logging out of the main exchange does the trick, sometimes not.
Thankfully it is not too frequent.

Click on create topic tends to free it up, you know it's sorted as the replies since your last viewing are displayed again.
