It’s what racecourses are encouraging,I have been to uttoxeter left after the first race it’s students day just people wandering around bumping into people with glasses of beer and wine.
Posted the same, presume all the fivers were on the 2nd!
I was booing as well...The most over rated Nag in Training.
I nearly put a post up before Racing saying as much but could not be arsed in the end.
It's not sporting to boo a horse...connections a different proposition. As for Jonbon greatest claim to fame is finishing behind Constitution Hill and trained by Hendo (the bookie man). I think a spanking by the Irish superstar El Fabiolo in the offing next month.
Surreal experience from the vantage point of seeing it on itv I must say.
All you can think is that having forked out the best part of twenty squids those in attendance were particularly brassed off.
After the withdrawal of the highly touted Love Envoi in the previous race one imagines that the racecourse public address went overboard in hyping up the hopeless Jonbon for the next.
Then for Jonbon to turn in that performance, with the attendant booing, well I thought i was watching the Comedy Channel.
Big Mac used to bellow 'Come racing' after a particularly stirring equine sporting climax.
This was more Carry On Racing.

El Fab would be even better at the longer trip, it would help his jumping too...won't happen though.
I don't agree on the evidence so far. Jonbon needs a strongly run 2 miles and some competition for the lead. He just got bored yesterday and still won easily when woken up.

2/1 is certainly backable than prior. I agree a stronger run race plus the Cheltenham hill will play into his hand. Just the trainer I'm not keen on; too many excuses prior and after. Mr Hendo, just do your job - it's only a horse race!

The booing seemed to begin after Jonbon regained the lead...not that that really explains anything
'sageform', indeed. The horse's connections are the ones to blame esp his trainer, for undercooking his fitness. Thank goodness detriment to his supporters (and punters) were averted this time.
I can remember clearly no big/top trainer (on the Flat) would run a possible superstar under-cooked in any prep race close to the main event; they would rather give them a spin of the racecourse.

Jonbon will absolutely bolt up in the Arkle, won't come off the bridle(Nap) He'll stride up the hill 10 clear with Coleman looking around for non existing dangers
If he goes. Let's be fair - the trainer is adept shall we say at pulling them out at the last minute. 
He'll run Honcho. The Arkle has been the aim since day one.
And a bet ante with 365 ensures a stake return if he doesn;t.
Surely the booing would be coming from those who had backed the other one and were given a moment of joy when it took the lead! Just like giving someone a tenner and then taking it back.
