Will he train a winner at the Festival next month? A good question 123. I'm just glad that I gave the forum the heads up albeit surprised not one winner. As I mentioned earlier on the thread my bank for Cheltenham is 2.5k. At present 2x1k wins and 1x500 win all proofed before the off. That said, one may be a non-runner in which case I will dutch 1k in increments in the Albert Bartlett Novices Hurdle which I think is wide open. PS I can can handle a 72 quid loss without chasing. As it happens I had no choice. I punt using my Barclays debit card and to deposit would have meant me to transfer money from my YBS saving account into my Barclays account. One problem.....it takes 24 hours and not instant. (check it out on their website) The other option I did have had I wished was to ask miss stew to deposit money into my Barclays account. She would have done so but we had enjoyed a nice lunch and a couple of drinks and having a good time I had no intention of getting my heed nipped. 'steward b', thanks for the offer. I seldom bet these days given the associated predicaments eg inquisitive bookies; predicated withdrawal symptoms; dodgy forms; etc.
I used to hold positions of £1k+ on The Exchange on big Gp1 races (no Irish) eg Derby, Gold Cup, R Ascot. Now more antepost for small outlays. Soon decamp altogether to grey markets and The City; BHA and bookies the reasons. |

eg inquisitive bookies; I know what you mean there. I only have BF as an online account but can phone Manny Berstein for the odd ticket and placepot at the big meetings.
