Hearing Ryan Moore extremely unhappy with George Boughey giving Oisin Murphy the ride on Missed The Cut. Moore turned down two rides in the race, expecting to be given the ride, having rode for Boughey this winter.
George Boughey explains here why he's opted to go with Murphy, and it's because he's expecting him to be free to ride the horse in the summer.

Hard to believe that Ryan Moore is extremely unhappy about anything - because you could never tell by looking at him! 
got to admire the confidence of boughey planning months ahead with murphy when alcoholics live from hr to hr
I don't know if its confidence or naivety (maybe even arrogance) 1st time poster. Not the sort of character an up and coming young trainer should be relying on.
He a decent rider with an alcohol problem not a serial killer .....

He's a violent drunk and lies plenty when he's sober. I doubt he will last more than a couple of seasons.

Ben Curtis was riding plenty for Boughey too before his injury, and that was when Stott more or less filled that gap for the trainer, so suppose not good news for either of them that when a classy ride is up for grabs they're both being overlooked.

Oisin reminds me of someone..........it's on the tip of my tongue.......... 
Rather have Oisin riding after 7 vodkas than I would Ryan on board...
Oisin is a proper jockey, him and Frankie are the best around by a country mile, having said that Frankie did appear to have more questionable rides last year that we had seen in previous seasons.

14 months was a pretty severe punishment. A burglar could rob 100 houses and get less.
a bugler being denied access to other peoples homes for 14 months is not an equal penalty

So anyone who takes an illegal drug should lose their job for the rest of their life? Sounds like you have sympathy for the poor burglar who is denied the pleasure of trashing peoples homes while being housed at the tax payers expense.

what a silly defence. burglary is illegal and insufficently regarded as a 'petty' crime but theres nothing petty about it. smurphy broke rules, not laws. and he wasnt denied his liberty.
given the potential penalties, he was treated leniently as these things are supposed to increase exponentially, but i dont really know or care.
