nwts, I don't see betfair 'recruiting' any new blood, in fact can't remember the last advert I saw that even mentioned IR on horse racing. I think a large % of IR money is pre-race offsets.

Sadly seems you are right Swifty, but interestingly from a legal standpoint, betting in running could be exempt from affordibility checks or at least treated differently. Trading in running is completely different from pre race betting. If someone is solely an in running player then they are no different to a commodities or futures trader.

Swifty is spot on. The PC was introduced under the pretence it was required to attract "new blood" because the winning players (almost exclusively those with a time advantage) were taking too much out of the "eco-system" too quickly.

Instead they continue to blow it all on marketing casino games and slots. So all that's left to pick off is gazers £2 "keep bet"!

around 60-65 log ins regularly playing from the drone i use..and prob another 100 playing from sub lets...dont ask me how..the game is absolutely brutal.

On course there were always several rooms given over to in running players . I never saw the example you give of 5 others in just 1 room.

I just cant understand why its not considered a combination of more competition seeing things level or ahead of him and the market thin at the end of the race.

But their advertising stinks, always has. It's amazing the amount of people I speak to, young and old and virtually all of them have never heard of betting exchanges. I guess we live in our own bubble.
