a typical market for a top RPR rated horse from a very small trainer and a little known rider. I backed it too early at 9.8 as it went off at 12 or so and went to 100 in running when interfered with by a loose horse. He was only beaten half a length by the even money favourite so I was able to lay off at 5 to break even but I do marvel at how few punters seem to look at ratings when betting in novice races.
