So is Paddy Keogh the owner , I had many a drink with him years ago. He gave me a lift home from Leopardstown in the 90s and boy was it entertaining. As we say over here he's a gas man , really funny and great fun to be around, I'd say he'll be like a cat on a hot tin roof today.

Actually this is going to be a very strange day for me today in Punch , for the first time in many many years I didn't renew my membership so the thought of having to pay in is strange indeed...

Looking at Paddy in the parade ring. He doesn't look much different than he did 30 years ago.

I suppose WR the SP makes up for the half stake dead heat somewhat. Would have won bar mistakes. Winner well beaten by stable companion Deep Cave at Leopardstown who looks decent even more so now.

Happy enough with the d/h MJK  with the way my luck has been thought for a second she was beat but she showed great resolve to get back up , she looked a little big in the paddock so I'd say they were more than happy with that run with more to come . Backed San F. @ 5/2 so got a little back from losses over the weekend . Limerick beckons tomorrow..
