Yep.  I wouldn't mind all this extravagant "celebration" of a good performance by jockeys, athletes, footballers, etc, and appealing to the crowd for their adulation etc;  when they simply do what they are paid to do, well, if in fact they were just as public and available to their adoring publics when they fcuked up and failed miserably.  But they don't, they hide away then as if the fans don;t matter.
Just do the job right, win and gain satisfaction from that alone.  All this bowlucks " look at how good I am" krap is just that - krap.

I hope for the sake of his sanity more than anything else that Lifford proves to be a success. It's slightly galling though that H.F.  and his syndicates members can lob five figures plus at a jackpot or Scoop 6 with no problem yet I can't bet a ton on a weekday placepot at Fontwell!
