I don't think any conclusion should be made on the basis of one year. It's been a poor year for staying novices, and the weather is also playing a part.

Any clamour for going back to three days is wasted breath. It's not long since they were considering five days.

Will be 2 years and single figure rummers, the clamour for 5 days is for drinking purposes and has nothing to do with the horse racing. It's just become a huge pub

How have people found accomadation re Cheltenham this year ?
Hotels seem ridicolous prices, is it possible get a room in houses locally still?

Just don’t go and let them know the reason why……watch it in the comfort of home….free of charge…

not sure if any connection but leopardstown reported 1 in 5 advance tickets sold for dublin racing festival this year were to uk racegoers . 50 euros gets you in both days .
