Radio 2 has gone down the pan only thing I listen to is Ken apart from early morning and Cox couldn't name another presenter who is that controller ex - Labour if memory serves aren't they accountable to anybody? Pigs me off paying my license fee for what is now dross. What's the figures do they stack up? Privatize them join the Mayo revolution on greatest hits just like the good old days hopefully Ken will head in that direction. 5 o'clock slot on 2 is just so awful a voice that just grates suspect she knows that.

Most of the new djs now on radio 2 are all pally with Zoe ball. She rules

liberator of the oppressed will be pleased to hear that Ken Bruce is indeed moving to Greatest Hits Radio.

Rather than being forced out by New Labour wokesters or friends of Zoe Ball, it is more likely Ken got a better offer. That said, Ken will be 72 years old in a fortnight's time so maybe he did not want to take the chance his BBC contract would not be renewed.

I must agree, Mullan has one of the finest Scottish voices ever.  A Peterhead loon brought up in the hard school which is the south of Glasgow.  Made it all on his own, a self-made and much honoured and decorated actor.

For me Ray Moore was the best with  big alma and  gatport airwick follwed by Bruce ,Jimmy Young (amazingly) and  early Wogan . Stopped listening altogether after that , pure dross .
