I have no idea if gruss can be connected to excel,  but if it can, from the reply below, it sounds a lot cheaper than what i'm using (BA)

yes gruss can. I occasionally use it if I want to back something near the off but am otherwise engaged.

Im just looking it up,  it's bloody cheap compared to what i'm paying,  don't get me wrong i LOVE  BA,  but as ive only ever used it i suppose that's why.  Will certainly look deeper into Gruss to see if i can swap all my formulas over to it.

I'll also admit i have it running 24/7,   UK,Aussies and USA horses,  so laptop never turned off

The triggers will be the only issue, I suppose. They are in the "excel triggered betting section" of http://www.gruss-software.co.uk/Betting_Assistant/UserGuide/help.htm

One other little quirk that I don't know occurs on BA, is that gruss looks for the first instance of excel to use, so you should open your sheets in that and open other instances of excel if you want to do other stuff.
