Looked good for sure - I'd still be surprised if Mullins didn't have anything to give him a race though.

A long time until March but that was most impressive. It was hard to see anything to criticise.

He did screw 1st fence a bit but jumped the rest very well. A very good effort.

Elliott and de Bromhead might have something to say although I can't name a specific horse. It is also another plus for Constitution Hill.

Big disappointment Monmiral, you always get the distinct impression when listening to Nicholl's that he really rates this horse.

Indeed. Owners Ferguson and Mason were in attendance as was AP who took the prize for JP.

I would imagine WPM would have something to give it a good run on the big day,I for one wasn't overly impressed today.

That's the problem these days, markets dead, you can't lay it as you know at best it will be a 6 runner on the day and you can't back being 6 months away. What's the point of antepost today??

I thought that the 1st 2 were very impressive on their jumping debut and judging by the betting and PN's remarks post race, Monmiral will definitely come on for the race. Even so, I reckon that Jonbon will be a tough nut to crack this season. Agree with you 100% Hibore.

I started thinking that Monmiral was very good when he won his first hurdle and even more so when he disposed of Adagio in April 2021. That is a long time ago however and he has not won since.

Paros and Crossing Lines?

Hi Maleuk, Go Chique was down for Ascot Saturday but ground was likely to be too soft so we will try Kempton on Monday if it stays dry. Few races back end of next week otherwise.
Paros ready to go just need a suitable race. He’s filled out his frame now and we hope to have some fun in the coming months.
We are just looking for a good starting point for Crossing Lines over fences. He should run in the next 2 weeks.

If I could be bothered I'd read the t's and c's but frankly the tedium of that is beyond me and as I'm not playing anyway it is academic really..
However, two left in and still the Jonbon to win by more than 17 lengths bets stay.
