I've had a good look a the World Cup football betting and although I can't predict the winner I think I've spotted a decent trade. That said, how many traders have cleaned up after just one game in the outright market? Plenty.
Take France for example, 10 to back, 10.5 to lay. With the traders gladly laying the 10 and at the same time backing the 10.5 it's a no brainer. They are up a few bob on France already and a few more teams.. As for Brazil it's 4.3 to back and 4.4 to lay where the profit margin is less. I will post my four figure sum bet tomorrow and play accordingly but my main aim is to trade out for a couple of hundred. gl/ if involved. |

As it happens my team have drifted half a point which is most likely due to England and Holland winning today. With Argentina and France playing tomorrow I will keep my powder dry as if both win I think the team I fancy for a trade will drift again.
Any doubts about my sincerity I will easily stick £1000 on Brazil at 34.0 if anyone wishes. (the graph doesn't lie) |

Shrewd traders take many things into account. I could easily have slipped up had I not done my homework. ie. let's say the team was 10 to back and 10.5 to lay. Had I dived in at 10 that would have been a disappearing act of 500 if not waiting for the 10.5.

If Argentina and France win tomorrow my team will go out another point imo and if so, win or lose, that'll be two points higher than my original thought when I first posted. A difference of a possible two thousand pounds ....given my stake.
