Stott, who apparently has a new agent, hasn't ridden for Ryan since Saturday, and doesn't appear to have any rides booked for him in the near future, though does seem to be getting on a number for George Boughey.
And quite noticeable today that Stott didn't ride Marhaba The Champ at Nottingham, a colt he was seen to good effect on last time out when winning at Hamilton.
Stott has had over 200 rides for Ryan this year, nearly a hundred more than Tom Eaves, the second most-employed jockey for the yard.

That has been the case for a while though, formoftheace, but it hasn't stopped Stott from being the main go-to jockey for the yard.
Owners can be touchy if they lose on a bet….‘you’ll never ride for me again’ we’ve heard it a few times…
partner and new agent Megan Nicholls determined to get Kevin more outside rides,looks to be doing a good job of it too, plenty of outside rides and winners, especially the link with George Boughey who is heading to the top.
Presumably, Neil Callan could have ridden Think First for James Tate there, as he'd won on the horse at Chelmsford last time, but no, teamed up with his old boss and mucker Kevin Ryan instead.
The first thing I thought of when I read this was Thundering, who I bet as a supposed (progressive) hold-up horse at Newmarket in a heritage hcap, which Stott rode from the front for whatever reason. Since he would have already been booked for Bielsa the following day, he hasn't been booked since.

George Boughey could have signed up one of the most promising young jockeys in the country, and had that continuity for his string, but instead has loudly signalled that when it comes to his best horses, he'll be calling on the big names...er, if they're available!
Exactly G Mr Stott is an exceptional jock in my opinion as good as anybody around at the mo gives them a proper go.
