the late Tapley plunge

It wasn't a definite runner until they walked the course this morning, the rain came in time but it wasn't really " expected " today as if it were it would have been half the price it returned.

Good Luck Today Slippy. ( 3-35 Kempton ).

Thanks very much G.C.
We got the 8's.

TTTTTIIIIMMMMMBBBBEEEERRRRRRRRR. Well done Slippy 7/2 now.!

Oh dearie me people, looks like our fella is probably going to be withdrawn.

Ground ??

Not enough on?

He runs, trainer literally just this minute gave the go ahead.

What was the problem Slip ?

A heavy downpour about an hour or so ago, not sure what to expect now t.b.h.

Ran well enough considering the weight burden ( and carrying my money ), hope some were on e/w.

Yes G.C. he ran a gutsy race to be beaten 7 lengths. Elizabeth Gale said that he wasn't enjoying the muddy conditions but he put in a lot of effort to clinch third. I think pretty much everyone was on e.w. so no damage done. Saying that quite a few cashed out about an hour or so before the race. It was a very enjoyable day out and he came home sound so that's all that matters of course.

You had to be pleased with that run Slippy ?  I thought you were punching above your grade to be honest, but the horse put up a great show imo.

Well done Slippy, agree with Glasgow, thought you had it all to do. Elizabeth Gale is a tidy Jockey, hardly ever see her...

Thanks gents, yes he ran super at Newbury to only be beaten into 4th in that company by ten lengths. He's a real battler and yes Elizabeth Gale is very capable and she absolutely loves Tapley.

He was 100/1 when the market was framed on Thursday and we chipped away at that e.w. but only 3 places unfortunately. Never mind, plenty of races ahead to look forward to.

Good Luck Slippy.

Good luck today Slippy, i wasn't aware of your ownership.

Like most things on this forum Slippy, I'm a bit late to the party. Good luck for today and I'll be watching with interest.

Good luck today Slippy, Looks a good each way opportunity

Thanks people, 14's and 10's all taken yesterday and 7.2 on here now.
If the sodding rain had stayed away we would have been extremely confident of a huge run.
Tappers would probably have disputed favouritism if that were the case.

Still, he's in grand form and Elizabeth on board again, she had a nice winner yesterday and she gets compliments from others in the industry liking her style.

Here's hoping he gets home safe and sound and runs his usual game race.

Very good second and very consistent.

traded 2/5 in running

Great run again Slippy. Hope you had a great Xmas.

Consistent again Slippy, just bumped into one. As you say a tidy jockey worth following.

All the best for the New Year Slippy and Everyone in this Madhouse.

Ah bless him, another super run.

Elizabeth talking afterwards, she was just so buoyant and delighted with the run and full of praise for Tappers. The passion and huge love we / she have got for him, well honestly gents, it's really rather moving t.b.h.

Makes it all worthwhile.

Wishing all a very happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.
