I’ll accept the small loss on the draw…..
By:
My first football punt since World Cup, draw 5/1 and 1-1 9/2 and I would be very happy to lose if Scotland can win also ir Scotland to score 3rd goal 13/2 and 11/1 to win so hope your prediction is as good as it usually is Quixall!!!
By:
1-1 9/1!!
By:
Certainly won’t be anymore goals tbf
By:

By:
Never in doubt tbf….
By:
it was obvious this morning when they drifted CR7 wasn't playing...
i said so this morning. |
By:
Joking aside hibb it was poor…..Portugal manager cardboard cut out…
By:
What was never in doubt was the appearance of the alter ego!!
By:
oh Portugal were poor aceform...
pretty much totally dominated but they were poor... Scotland tried hard and battled away... created virtually nowt apart from the goal... they'll get some pats on the back for effort which is fair enough imv. |
By:
pleased for Mctominay getting the goal...
no idea why Manchester United sold him... probably coz it's full of clueless head honchos tbh. |
By:
Sounds like a repeat of Post Poland imv...tbf...btw...!!
Hibby " Was mainly watching the tennis but the bits I saw Portugal were awful" Hibby minutes later " Oh Portugal were poor aceform, pretty much dominated but they were poor..Scotland tried hard and battled away, created virtually nowt apart from the goal.." Did you get mixed up again Quixall? |

If the way this game panned out has taught you nothing about exchange betting, there is no hope for you f4rty!
By:
Ah well!…….that’s it then I’ll just close down my account…..Einstein has spoken…..ffs
By:
Portugal 2 Scotland 1...
that's what they pay out on aceform. |
By:
Isreal v Italy hibb
I think both teams will score….1.3 over 0.5 first half looks tempting tbh…… Still deciding… |
By:
not a market i'd get involved with tbh aceform.
By:
Serious question f4rty - did you learn anything from that game?
By:
Yes I got profit…..21.00 I watched part 5 of Sherwood……
By:
You back what you think is the better team…after Scotland scored I played the draw small…..the Daq bet i let it run….
Profit on the night….. Enlighten us what you learned….or teach us a lesson how to play the exchange……ffs….. |
By:
The lesson is this (imo).
Your opinion is worthless - you have basically opined (just like everybody else) that the 1/3 favourite is the most likely winner! Of course, even in your case, you will likely be correct because 3 times out of every 4 (on average) that will probably eventually be the case - but surely even you can do the maths - your opinion (especially when it is the same as almost everybody else's opinion) will not make you money (long term after commission) from 3 winners and a loser at that price. Of the 3 winners and 1 loser that you will probably get from 4 such bets - have you ever considered looking at the "price journey" that those 3 winners (and the loser) take? Have you ever considered that on a betting exchange the "price journey" might often allow you the double whammy - of making a bigger profit from a smaller outlay - versus the option of lumping on the bleeding obvious that every other (long term) losing) punter is lumping on? Time can be your enemy - but it can also be your friend. Just a thought. Obviously you won't take any notice and will continue to bet on the exchange as though you were still in a betting shop. Rinse and repeat (and deposit again!). |
By:
I like Sri Lanka's "price journey" in the test match and I've benefitted from it.

Typical pompous lecture…..tbh…..why would i expect anything else tbf…
An insight to the punting world of TM would be interesting… |
By:
Not very classic or a "textbook" graph imo CS - it's a bit Harry Styles (One Directional!) - but still a very nice "journey" for anybody with a sensible entry point. i.e. start off by laying the shortie.
Well done. |
By:
A conversation with a psychiatrist is what you need Quixall if you still think anyone is fooled by the farcical double act!! ffs...imv...tbf...btw...
By:
Double act ? ….ffs grow a brain Cagliari and stop impersonating TM……

An insight to the punting world of TM would be interesting… I just gave you an insight ffs - short of just transferring you a load of money, I'm not sure what else I can do for you. I think my post is probably the most insightful post on this thread - but tbf the competition wasn't up to much! |
By:
So who is lying Quixall, you or the alter ego about the game last night or both of "you"?
By:
I can’t really comment on the nonsense you ask, considering that I didn’t watch much of the game….
By:
Perfectly reasonable questions Quixall but tbf... not the first time you have forgotten who you are supposed to be. imv...tbf...btw...

Same here cardinal as laying low as opposed to lumping low is a preference for me , then let the unpredictability of sport take care of the rest , it's far less stressful as well Ace as long as you're selective.
Wouldn't want to get caught up in the stormy Ace vs TM relationship but if feeding back ( as i've done in the past ) i could easily copy & paste the same response such are the similarities. It never seems a prudent strategy if by accident or desire to follow in the footsteps of every man and his dog plus next doors cat as these exchange prices with their 100% books are as accurate as you will see with all the viewable evidence already factored in , unless you know something that even next doors cat doesn't of course. Reckon punters need to incorporate a strategy in the modern game and think outside the box providing they know the box exists as personal opinions on their own just inevitably end up playing follow the leader. Ace , some food for thought might be to ask yourself when was the last time you were refused a bet at a bookmakers or failed to get the price YOU requested on the exchange , if never then why ? Good luck today ![]() |
By:
Hayden….I have never been in a bookmakers for decades tbf….I once was refused a bet in Whitburn West Lothian years back when I asked for £1400 to £400 on one of Alan Baileys running at Wolverhampton on a Saturday evening….early nineties
Regarding the exchange, never seem to have an issue on the exchange tbh in handicap races….. |

not a market i'd get involved with tbh aceform. Goals are important in this competition hibb…. |
By:
I didn't explain it well Ace , was referring to your bet type as opposed to level of stake and with the exchange there's a difference between having a bet on what's available vs having the notion of a price and if not matched then swerving the bet , in other words do you sometimes wait in the queue or always jump to the front.
Trying to be constructive mate without having a pop ![]() |
By:
You explained it just fine the first time tbh, tbf, imo, ffs.
![]() |
By:
That whooshing noise you can hear - is anything resembling sound advice - going straight over f4rt's head imo.
By:
Yep,there are times Hayden I put up a price and pull out if not getting matched ….I think most have a price they think is value…..considering value is what it’s all about tbf…..
Few times at the track I’ve walked up and down the line and walked away…..cursing…. Notion of a price like most tbf……like most exchange players I put up a price and hope…. |
