not betting on the race or in the race myself, it's a bit different I suppose, the bumping seemed clear to me, though not which runner was the primary culprit. i was highly professional and temporarily left my account unfunded as I wasn't planning to play at all today, c'est la vie.

you wont see trouble unless you're watching 1st or 2nd.

if you watch the race again as if live I'm almost sure you'll see the barging match easily, it was blatant imv. that's why i looked at the photo betting even though there was no doubt who won the photo, to see how the market was pricing up the likelihood of an enquiry. was astonished to see £35K hanging there at one oh one, but obviously not enough time to process a deposit.

to re-state, it wasn't that the winner was likely to be chucked out, but there was definitely bumping so you'd kinda want to be desperate weighing in at the minimum, knowing the market could well reopen.

no very unusual for me, the short element of the longer story is I needed some liquidity for something else temporarily, and bf withdrawals are instant.

The surprising thing about this race, was the unusual efficiency with which Betfair managed the market. I don't see any downside to them opening the photo betting when the distance is a neck or less
There are some tracks in Ireland where they can bet each of two when the distance is a head! And there's always the possibility of a Stewards when the finish is fairly tight
To add to the remarkable chain of events, Betfair also re-opened the market for the Stewards with amazing rapidity
It really can't be that difficult to get it right like this for every race instead of the randomness we get from the Operators
