TREACYS JIM (IRE), placed second, appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Newton Abbot on 4 May 2022 where the gelding finished third of three, beaten by 73 lengths. Jimmy Frost’s explanation that the gelding benefitted from the first-time application of cheekpieces and being able to dictate on this occasion was noted. TREACYS JIM (IRE) was routine tested.
Jockey actually broke the whip rules yet the stewards did nothing
