Haven’t checked other posts, but this was a direct quote from the Stewards apparently. The RUK studio quoted it,and we’re at a loss to know what else she could have done. Doing a few turns to assess the well-being was obvious to me, hence my contribution.

This was a carbon-copy of what happened to Killutagh Vic in a Gp2 Novice Chase with Walsh onboard. As a result the horse was off the track for over 18 months and never raced competitvely after. It was retired soon after the failed-comback.

Surely staying on the back of a falling horse is more likely to cause the horse harm. Itv applauding her as some sort of freak of nature to sit on a horse down on all four, but surely welfare of the horse was more at risk having 7 or 8 stone still on back when stumbling after landing.

She found herself back on her feet pointed in the right direction and obviously the horse felt okay. She kept the horse in 'race mode' before meeting the last.
If the horse digs his heels in after she stops for a few turns she'd be called a cheat.
