Bit of advice/heads up regarding midweek NH meetings at Newcastle as to what’s open etc ,as the website only gives you the option to buy a grandstand ticket and nothing else so am I right in assuming that will be the only stand open due to possible low attendance. Also what food and drink options are there for midweek meetings as again no real info on their website Thanks
I believe you can access everywhere for the price. I would consider eating before or after your visit, the food at the course is nothing special and just typical racecourse fatty food that is overpriced.
Wrap up its always freezing there and have a good day be lucky, if you are a drinker the Border Minstrel pub just outside the entrance is worth a stop for a swift one.

If there is more than one of you taxi is a no brainer imo, never seen taxis cheaper anywhere than Newc.
Bus be 5er return.
Taxi 16-20 return.
Use Budget Taxis/Blueline not station taxis for obvious reasons.

You can also get the metro train to regent centre or four land ends stations, where a free bus takes you to the course (or used to, in any case - haven't been racing for ages)
