An enquiry was held into the circumstances surrounding the correction of the provisional placings in Race 8, from PROCLAIM, as the winner, and COVERHAM (IRE), placed second, to be confirmed as a dead heat. The Judge and the BHA Steward were interviewed. Having heard their evidence, a report was forwarded to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority for further consideration.

I thought the official result after the weigh in was posted on the R'Post.
It's "D`Heat" on there/their (in case Delta) is reading. I never know if its "there or their"  |

Was working in shop, passed the original result then changed to dead heat at least 10 mins later, if there was a weigh in I never saw it on screens. The fact they changed it to a dead heat and left it as a dead heat would suggest they hadn't.

Rishi Last race at Kempton - result changed. Dead Heat now called. Extraordinary. lady Sometimes it's good to have the nerve to change a decision and do the right thing. Unless every one of us is always right and absolutely perfect. I applaud their courage in changing it |
