they have had to call out technical staff from home no one of any power or use works at betfair on weekends

This place has deteriorated rapidly over these past few years. I cannot even use the Firefox browser on here now and betfair haven't a clue how to fix it.

 if it was a technical thing at any other company the mgmt would haul everyone in on Monday morning & it would never happen again. there's more to this than it being technical, its being taken down for a reason. |

Sorry I didn't reply to you earlier handtorofe, but I was elsewhere. Because of the outage it doesn't look like I'll be able to trade out. A traded option expert would describe my position as a straddle with one leg lifted & I'm running naked. Just looking up the train times to Beachy Head!

For me it is also a matter of empathy. I really feel sorry for those, who got caught in the middle of trade and can't trade out witout a considerable loss.

it's all BS. been going on for years & you think it's a technical thing yeah,every few mths bf just randomly decide to pull the plug and halt thousands of bets being placed on hundreds of markets for an hour for what ulterior motive? WAFDSC. |

doesn't make sense for it to keep crashing. you get someone in to fix it, thats it. this has been going on for years, imagine the uproar if you couldn't get money out of your bank, for 2 hours every saturday. it just wouldn't happen, it would be fixed.
