Not saying that's a dodgy bet Life-lucky or that they won't win - obviously Germany are the far superior side. But it does look like an ill-researched bet. Germany have already qualified top of the group, they have nothing to play for, they will all just want to stay injury free and the manager will want to appease the club managers where the big names are concerned. So even if they didn't have covid issues with some of their top players (which they apparently do), some fringe players would probably have taken part anyway instead of the big names.
That's probably why they have drifted from your 1.13 out to 1.18. As I say, they will probably win (they have averaged 5.25 goals per match in the previous four head to heads) - but win, lose or draw - it's a shocking price you have taken. And therein lies the issue with this type of "challenge" - obviously this "all-in" nonsense is the main issue but the secondary issue is just thinking that short priced bets are bound to win regardless of value (or the lack of it!). Enjoyable thread to read (even if it's a bit like waiting for the car-crash). Good luck - I doubt you will need it today but long term if you are taking 40% worse odds than available you will need it plenty. |

Thanks for those words, Management. Totally agree about short-priced bets, I defo do not expect them to win and you're right on my inadequate research on the German squad and Covid. I really did expect Germany to win though based on German attitude generally and their good record on the road.
And .. I certainly jumped the gun on the odds as you point out. Yesterday afternoon I bet Frau Georgia, £25 3tbp and £25 2tbp, that was greed! I got sucked in by the near evens on 3tbp. Live n learn as ever. So .. I actually dont really NEED £147,000 but an extra say £100 a week would be excellent. TBH I've been betting since 1977 and I consider myself just another mug punter but this 'system' is keeping me entertained and, importantly, hopeful. Bests, L-L |

I'm opting out of this plan, for awhile at least. Ive finished at ton-up 2 weeks out of 5 but last fortnight, no luck. And as I'm doing so few bets this way Im not getting enough 'thrills'so

After 33 goes at Over 0.5 goals - prices 1.11 or thereabouts
there is now £41.72 in the kitty after starting at a tenner. Each time a tenner was made another "climber" was added. (This was one of Brassneck's ideas). There are now 4 climbers each starting now with £10.43. Would like to get up to at least 10 "climbers". The only loser so far was the 16th bet (Huddersfield v Birmingham). Good stuff, Ras. Very short odds are the way to go. I see that now so Ive returned to this 'system', largely backing 4tbp but this evening I did my first ever LAY. I just couldnt see how Leeds Utd could beat Arsenal so I put down £19.20 and won £4. The Sportbook price here for 'Draw or Away Win' was 1/8 so definitely worthwhile.

Started with a tenner and split it into two bets when it got to £20, then three bets when it got to £30, etc. Was hoping to get to 10 separate bets then go for it!  There have been 43 bets (bets 16 and 36 were losers) and the total now (after last night's one) is £40.01. So this will be split into four bets. Just a bit of fun really! |
