U cannot get involved in betting on these situations anymore. It's too difficult to weigh up how the stewards see it. A lottery. In my opinion there is no way the FPTP should have lost that decision

Indeed, that's why I didn't play in the end. It's a different mindset now the stewards have taken to the past.
