He probably is getting too old.
Not the horse he was by any means, but Frankie used all his experience and class to get him up and I doubt there are that many jockeys around who would have won on him today. |

He's 6/4 for the Doncaster Cup next friday. The present ground is good to firm (weather forecast is dry) rendering Trueshan a very unlikely runner, I believe. He's not improving, but against these opposition? Game over, I think, unless Princess Zoe could gain her 1st win since Oct 2020.

He was behind Search For A Song (2nd) when odds-on and 7th at Ascot; the ground was soft that day, and Frankie nearly pulled him up. But, good ground today; 6/4 is too tempting. I just hope he's fit.
