Its fine here. Rodney is a very helpful chap

Yeah always had good experiences of any previous issues, been with RI for many years

My wifi was changed from phone line to superfast fibre broadband yesterday, would that be anything to do wit it, maybe new IP address not recognised?
By:
...thanks for checking for me anyway guys :)
By:
your new wifi connection should not make any difference

When you changed your wifi, did you also change your ISP? I'm wondering if they are blocking it as a gambling site if they have given you a free family-friendly filter to block your teenage son watching porn. See if you can get to various bookmaker sites.
Less likely is you are blocking it yourself if the new installation involved changing your Windows firewall but I doubt it. Otherwise wait for the RI team. |

Oh, to be on the safe side, have you tried turning it off and back on again? iirc early RI download managers did not always exit properly -- task manager might show lots of zombie RI DMs.

Ramruma do you work in I.T. Lol

Used to. Retired.

I have fixed it now thanks everyone for your help, it was my new wifi settings needed to be changed to public from private.
By:
Cool. WD. Don't forget to email RI that it is fixed now (and tell them the fix so they can add it to their support database).

By:
Maybe that came over a bit strong.
When I used to do trouble tickets 20 years ago, the most frustrating thing at 4 o'clock in the morning was to find a previous case with the same symptoms, and for it just to say "fixed". Yes, but how? Nearly as bad was "restarted": restarted what, and how? |

grendel, pleased to see it's no longer....

Ramruma. No its good advice. Want to always help Rodney where we can. He has been very helpful to me over the last 12 years ...since the sad demise of superform. I actually loved their all too fleeting electronic formbook
