And once had aspirations to become an actor
Report Angoose July 28, 2021 12:46 PM BST
In his case, those aspirations were surely to be a thespian, not a mere common or garden actor, dear boy Grin

Meanwhile ......

Charlotte Dujardin became Great Britain's most decorated female Olympian by winning the bronze medal in a tense individual dressage event at Tokyo 2020.

Dujardin, 36, faced a nervous wait to see whether Dorothee Schneider would surpass her mark of 88.543% in the final run of the day but the German rider could not deny her a sixth Olympic medal.

Dujardin's haul of three gold medals, one silver and two bronze moves her clear of the five medals won by British rower Katherine Grainger and tennis player Kathleen McKane Godfree.

But her run of successive Olympic titles from 2012 and 2016 came to an end, as Germany's Jessica von Bredow-Werndl scored 91.732% to beat compatriot Isabell Werth into silver on 89.657%.

I feel sure that she'll credit Nick in her interview Grin

Do you think that the BBC should employ a full time Equestrian commentator for 5 days work every 4 years? Nick Luck is a professional and could do a competent job on any sport. Sadly, Mike Tucker is no longer with us after having done the job for 30 years or so.
Report Slicer August 2, 2021 11:34 AM BST
Nick Luck is better suited to the BBC than to ITV. Jolly good show is what I say!
Report sparrow August 2, 2021 11:38 AM BST
Agreed, a class above the rest.
