be more likely it is going to an irish crew before they send it to someone over here, equalling 1 extra hop hence same speeds

what drones you had today/tonight? you got ire tonight?

I know "several" out of how many?  Who make it work.  It has always been fraught with risk whilst loaded with opportunity.  Too rich and risky for most of us.  Love

why is it on it's last legs? humans can trade opinions on just about anything - in-running or otherwise - and we probably will until we are no more

If a company produced fly racing up a wall of 2(or more)equally matched flies, broadcast with next to zero latency it would soon overtake horse racing in-running.

Surprised they dont give the dogs a go, if they could get it to 0.5 latency might have a product, cross matcher possibly wouldnt like it.

Races over just a bit too quick possibly.

The current situation has meant I've massively reduced my in-running betting. Today's example ,my nap was Tregony at Bath, to play in-running as and when I was happy. My picture froze and even rewound temporarily 2 furlongs out and I lost the entire thread of the race, needing to reboot it. There is only so many times you can be p!ssed off and keep coming back.

hopefully the Epsom executive allow the bloke to sit in the middle of the track and play in running as he normally does...

great stuff.

Its these guys on youtube talking about pre race trading.  They have quite a following.  People who are sat at home know they can't beat on course traders with a fast connection

Should they ban in running racing?
By:
Rico-Dangleflaps
When: 08 Jul 21 22:51
for what reason?
By:

When: 08 Jul 21 23:14
Good question. I don't mind either way really.

If, as it seems that some are gaining an unfair advantage and yes I realise its been going on in different forms for years, simply because they receive faster pics that are not available to everyone (within reason) then surely the situation for betfair becomes untenable, do they have to satisfy all of their customers equally?
By:
Rico-Dangleflaps
When: 08 Jul 21 23:23
doesnt that apply to every sport thats in progress?
By:
Tiger Tiger
When: 08 Jul 21 23:28
If it does then surely that's another reason to stop in running?

I like in running, but if Betfair cannot provide a platform that all its users can play from equally then does their position become untenable?
By:
Rico-Dangleflaps
When: 08 Jul 21 23:41
no..hence the warning.
By:

When: 08 Jul 21 23:50
I'm happy for in running to continue but this drone thing might cause unwanted attention that may lead to legal issues. You can warn people against smoking etc this is a bit different, can Betfair withstand a challenge? Who from?  Well what if folk complained to their MP and its brought up in the house?

Surely if you are a provider of in running facilities then it has to be the same criteria for each of your users? You cannot offer 2/1 to one user whilst another gets on certain at 5/2, or whatever? With the only difference being the speed of pictures?
