Three good jockeys all got it very wrong there. Frankie hung back so Buick and Heffernan decided to stay just behind him and none of them were given a chance to win. I was on Spanish Mission and although he beat Strad, he was never really put in the race. At least I didn't pile into the fav. Well done backers of the winner who got the ride of the meeting.

Well said.

As so often, RP Ratings were not far out with outsiders with Princess Zoe having exactly the same rating as Subjectivist. Obviously they were both well down the overall list but they were the only 2 given a realistic chance!

Nice result Happy, I think the horse won on merit and despite it not being Frankies finest hour he wouldn't have reached the winner imo.

From the three pole Stradivarius had as clear a run as Spanish Mission and the latter outpaced him. Fine horse but all good things come to an end.

Any fancy's for tomorrow? I think Campanelle can go well again back on turf and back to a sprint distance. The ground shouldnt bother her if it turns soft as she won a Group race in the soft at Deauville last year following her win in the Queen Mary, 8.0 looks nice on here and around 3. something to place. In the King Edward I like Alenquer at 3.3 and hopefully around 2.5 to place in the two place market, the form of his last race is working out ok.

Alenquer is a decent price. Not bothering with straight course races given the rain and rails track bias (either side) and rain makes it even more of a lottery. I assume Detorri will try and get Campanelle over to rail if the first race suggests centre is the wrong place to be.

Alenquer did it nicely, the early 3.3 was a wise move.

Last day tomorrow, 3/4 so far and the other placed so fingers crossed.

4.20 Stoute will have Dream of Dreams bang on for this, 2nd in this last year and the year before, soft conditions will suit, Starman has just been pulled out so the market will have to reform but around 3.9 and 1.9 to place will do. Haydock 7.05 Al Shibli looks a decent ptospect, short at around 2.28 but won nicely last time, hoping he can defy a penalty.

Dream of Dreams ExcitedLove the price was surprisingly big and certainly bigger than the 4.1 and 2.1 that I took.

Cheers lads. Irish Derby tomorrow. AOB is mob handed as usual with 5 of the 11 declared runners. The going looks to be slightly better than the good to soft at Epsom so I wouldnt be surprised if some of the placing from the English Derby were reversed, but at the odds I've plumped for Lone Eagle and backed him at 10 on here and will go in the place market closer to the off. Needed his debut race last year and probably this year too. Finished 4th behind Alenquer, Adayar and Yibir at levels over 10 furlongs at Sandown and thats good form to me, then at Goodwood he gave Yibir 5 lbs and didnt just turn the tables but tounced him in style winning as he pleased, that was over 11 furlongs and any more improvement has to surely put him in with a chance tomorrow, I hope so anyway.

Great effort trading to 1.02 making it an easy trade out, 2.8 and 2.82 for the place was the best I could get, happy enough. Hingdsight is a wonderful thing but 3.5 in the 2 place market would have been decent value too.

Winner stopped everything else
should be chucked out, but unlikely.

Abbie Power imo would be long odds on if trained by one of the top guys, happy to take 2.44 for the filly whose debut form is working out very well.

I think it will be 2-0 to Subjectivist after the Goodwood Cup. Stradivarius is not improving, and his prep runs for Arc 2020 had not helped. The horse is confused.com.

Dhushan in the 4.45 is a bet for me today, 3.95 on here seems fair enough and around 1.8 for the place (hopefully) The way he has won his last two since upped to this distance suggests that there is more to come. The one he beat comfortably last time went on to be beaten less than a lenght in a Class 2 so the form looks steady enough. Fingers crossed that he goes close today.

1.85 for the place will have to do, ran a decent race to finish second.
