Im in a decent position to win a good few bob , as usual their cash out offer is weigh less than it should be , is it worth contacting them and trying to pull a bit extra out of it

If I was you Biffo I would cash out given what you have left to run.Goes against my normal instinct tbh but I cashed out 2 and a bit grand the other day rather than lay the 4th leg.

Lay them then Biffo and hope you lose the lays,how short are the odds on? Been there many times and a case of balancing the books really,put yourself as having the liability and go from there as to what gets you the best result.
Cash outs are heavily in favour of the bookmakers, you still have 4 to run so £8k to me would seem fair. Its really down to you though and how much £8K will mean to you.

When you placed the bet you would have known this scenario may have to be considered & that following 5 successful selections that running amount would be considerably more that you'd be offered by ANY bookmaker.
Not sure you have any choice but to let it run or else why on earth place the bet in the first place , the last or indeed penultimate leg may be considered different but this stuff should be given more consideration before placing a bet of this type.

We miss your original point Biffo which was negotiate.Without doubt you can get £12K from them if giving them a call imo,found them willing in the past,start at £20k and work backwords and get to the middle ground if that suits you?
The alternative is let it run and if the three odds on go in ask them for a line of credit on here to allow you a lay on Al Boom,they are also very helpful in this respect i.e an exchange lay.

yeah most would argue that you should just be rolling up on singles rather than placing this sort of multiple bet and having your hands tied by the bookies

the thing with that wisewords is very few who roll up to 100k will put the 100k on the next

Have cashed out 3 times for large numbers,all three have backed the last leg on here,one won two lost.So the choice of backing or laying might seem obvious but the shortest was 8/1 which won.
Biffo is at least in the position of considering laying at short prices unlike I was,the bottom line is he has the upper hand to negotiate what suits him best?

start with 240 euros. place single, win. place 240 euros + profit on next selection. repeat, repeat, repeat. can stop whenever you like then. only difference is if he's got much bigger prices than SP in his acca

If you’re in a quandary why not call em & ask for 6k for half the bet ,keep the other half running.
Al Boum Photo is 3/1 for the Gold Cup. market doesn't particularly like it? feels like that will let you down regardless

If you wanted to cash out after 5 legs if they all won then why not just have a 5 fold accumulator at the start?
As mentioned earlier, think re these big accas before you place the bet if you would cash out. As we all know cash out doesnt offer great value.

cash out part of it its cheltenham i had big 4 timer on concertista today took part cash out just chinned happy i took it these multi are hard to get all right take something out of the bet at least or cash it all and stake the others with smaller bets but keep most of the cash you might only get one the chance again in 10 years time
need to be extremely optimistic to be staking £240 on a 900/1 acc

If you want to take value out of your acca after the first 5 of 9 (or whatever) have come up, why not think about that in advance and back the 5-fold too? And the 4 and the 6 for that matter? That'd be better value than a bookie will give you to cash out and still leave you in with a chance of the big payday?

I would imagine it's hard to cash out on imaginary bets. Sure the guy doesn't even know if it was a 240 or 245 euro accum ffs.
Traders are ultimately gamblers....they’d be more than happy to let the bet ride and see ABP get beat than offer more than the cash out.
