Zanihyr connections won't be trembling too much re Tritonic Form. Fill yer boots.
Report loper • March 15, 2021 12:46 PM GMT
Both horses had been beaten out of sight by Tritonic and they finish a distance clear of the rest.

I take it you are being ironic?
Report Deplasterer • March 15, 2021 12:48 PM GMT
No, will be looking a long way ahead of Zanahiyr arse at the back of the last.
Report loper • March 15, 2021 12:50 PM GMT
That may be so, but has no relation to what you posted above, imho.

Tritonic’s Kempton form is not worth tuppence. Second, third and fourth are still maidens over hurdles.

Overhyped and will be crushed by the battle hardened Irish juveniles whose form is so much superior.

Lol!

None of them as run since, apart from Casa Loupi who would have won today without the misfortune.

As it is, the winner was beaten 36l by Tritonic at Ascot!

Triumph 123 for me is Zanahiyr, Adagio, Quilixios now that Duffle Coat is out.

Vulcan was 3rd in that Tritonic race - just btn 40 lengths at odds on .... hmmmmm ... Tritonic form very much tested today - depends if you believe form means much :)

If you seriously think that Vulcan ran his race today then I must advice you to self exclude from all betting sites for your own financial health.

Sick of hearing that Tritonic was a top class flat horse, no he wasnt, he was a handicapper.

That's strange, Ibrahima, I've looked through this thread several times and can't find any reference to his flat form.Confused

shooda, you seem to confuse collateral form in handicaps and Graded races with novice hurdles where there is often none. The 4yo that has been tested in GB is Adagio who has taken on good horses each time and been beaten once by Duffle Coat. Tritonic might have looked good but so far there is no evidence that any of those behind him are better than 110 horses.

trust me Sage - I'm not smart enough to confuse collateral form of any type - I like colours, best to keep it simple

So why do you think it is all bent?
Report shoodacoodadidnt • March 15, 2021 7:40 PM GMT
Do you mean "what is the reason for this sport being bent?" ........ I don't know - I don't think it is ALL bent - it reflects the rest of society, I imagine. Some goodness, some evil ..... some straight, some bent. Anything with huge opportunities to make money, attracts lots of dishonesty - I know it, have seen it in the corporate world and I've met some serious 'players' active in this 'sport' so I don't 'THINK' anything .... I have a high degree of certainty. If you think the top trainer's affiliations with major bookmakers are likely to lead to a generally 'straight' scene ......... then ...... I'm not that surprised. I'm an old person now .... nothing much surprises me. I came to a very important realisation in the last few years ..... humans are not to be trusted ..... and by the way that's not so bad .... it's just how it is. You shouldn't trust me either. I might be one of those forumites who is very much "in the know" and comes on here to put you away from time to time. ..... maybe ....... ;)

I agree that some horses are not run to the best of there ability but 90% of favourites that are beaten are not the best horse in the race and most good horses get beaten because of accidental factors rather than deliberate cheating. I have been into racing for 60 years and believe me, it has never been cleaner than now. I can remember seeing horses running straight out of a field and pulling up at half way before winning at Cheltenham 4 months later, every jockey but one pulling their horses to land a gamble until the rider of the chosen one fell at the last, jockeys jumping off when they realised they were going too well. All before patrol cameras of course. At the end of the day every race has a winner and somebody backs it.
Report shoodacoodadidnt • March 15, 2021 8:33 PM GMT
All fair comment Sage. I think today's cheating is just more subtle, generally, however. When there's a camera everywhere you turn .... it has to be.
