she found the time to catch up with GMB and piers take , and to also register a complaint to ITV the sheer vanity expressed when someone , like them , gave opinion she didnt agree with couple of weeks ago i wathced harry prance around with james corden , a "look at me im an average joe " clip where he sang and knocked a randoms house to use toilet , obv an excersise to keep himself out of the spotlight  before playing the wronged victim days later on ophra royals just as bad tbh , are they really our moral compass , to me the institution looks more dated and sadder by the day |

It's not really a new term. Typically it means attempting to remove people whose views/opinions you disagree with from a shared platform. That could be any shared platform, eg a forum, tv show or workplace.
Whether Morgan orchestrated it himself (unlikely), it was still cancel culture in evidence. It has nothing to do with minorities in your implication of the word. |
