Some forumites were asking last week, in a rather mocking tone I thought, just what is this "cancel culture"?
Well we didn't have to wait long for a high profile 'casualty', did we? Piers Morgan gave his views on the Meghan Markle interview. The woke fanatics didn't like it. Morgan is cancelled. |
|
By:
He said he didn't believe the actress. The boss of ITV has announced she believes everything the actress said, and by extension so should we all. Quite worrying.

A perfect example of why I'll be glad within the next few years or so that I'll no longer be on this planet. The woke, cancel, BLM/BAME, degenerate liberal cultures have destroyed common sense & the quality of life. Glad I'm no longer young &/or not having to make a living. Sourface of Sussex has single handedly set out to destroy the monarchy when she couldn't get her own way. Just think about it-what three things would you come up with if you wanted to cause maximum damage_ race, mental health & victimhood! She's an actress & a wrong un. Piers put it politely & had to go because of the way things are in the UK. The US takes the side of their own. Americans are by nature naive. The country's going to the dogs, but now I'm goingnback to the Ozzie dogs!

Julia Hartley-Brewer Retweeted
talkRADIO @talkRADIO Julia reveals some of the tweets she received after coming out in defence of Piers Morgan, with one user saying 'you're next': "The Twitter mob - whenever they get a scalp they move on to the next person." Nasty. |
|
By:
Julia giving it to Grant Shapps now, brilliant.

Can't stand Gabby Piers Morgan as I said on other thread, but I do respect his right to have an opinion, guessed he'd be in trouble after Mondays show.
|
|
By:
Morgan will be loving it,he's where he wants to be,the centre of attention, also when one door closes no doubt another more lucrative door will open very soon for Piers.
|

i dont trust her lets hope she stays where she is

And see who we have replacing him this morning. She can't even look the camera straight in the eye! And I'm not referring to his former partner, before all the resident snowflakes pile in.

Same here Slicer. Not too long to go now - certainly a lot less than has passed by. We have all been asleep and allowed a revolution to take hold and it is now irreversible.
|
|
By:
I think I may have mental health issues as I find myself more or less agreeing with Piers Morgan
![]() Intersestingly this seems to have caused a generational divide not a strictly political one. |

Mr Honcho- My future is behind me! All good things come to an end & there's a lot of bad things ahead!

Just a lot of wealthy people getting involved in a family quarrel as if we did not have more important things to be concerned about.
|
|
By:
There can only be one winner here and that is [like him or loathe him] Piers Morgan, good for him I say.
And I DO believe that in the fullness of time his stance on this sorry saga will be vindicated. |
|
By:
can't stand Piers Morgan myself but in this case I'm on his side...don't forget the woman's an actress,as saddo says, she has already fallen out with her own family. She's surrounded by her professional"sisters" like Williams and Winfrey and has practically brainwashed the ex-prince and taken him "hostage".Anyway a blind man's dog could tell there's no royal blood in him..he's simply Harry Hewitt now Harry Markle

why do you think that ericster? just a feeeling is it?

|
By:
I'm looking forward to the inevitable backlash against woke culture and a return to common sense thinking .

What a load of old codswallop and that includes both sides of this privileged family.
|

Very unfortunately Posey, Shergar will be back to win the Grand National before that happens!

kavvie, they're a couple of attention-seekers imo.
They've uprooted themselves and their young family, moved to America to escape racism and bullying. Really? Well they sure picked the right country. They want to live their own lives, value their privacy. Really? Don't want to live among us but he is willing to hang on to his titles and all that money that goes with them. How's that for a sense of duty? [Grow up] springs to mind. |

The main problem with social media is that for many, repeated propaganda IS the truth.
and the irony of posting that on this forum after the last two weeks events isn't lost on me.... |
|

I wouldn't p i ss on Piers Morgan if he was on fire. He is just a loud mouthy bully and I find it sad, but not surprising, so many on here like him or support his views. All many of you are doing is repeating what the newspapers and media tell you. Ask yourself where the information is coming from that you make your decisions on.
In the Oprah interview a small segment dealt with what colour Archie might be. The rest dealt withy the media hounding them. Guess what all the news reports were about? I don't think the royal family defend themselves enough in the age we are in and that is something they will have to learn to do. For the large majority on here, who clearly believe and hang on to every word the newspapers write and media claim, good luck to you. I don't think it has anything to do with the truth, they are just pampering to your known, bigoted views. Seems we have gone full circle and are back with Piers Morgan. |

By:
f.w.i.w. I don't think it racist to wonder what colour the child's skin might be, most people did wonder, in private if not in public. What would be racist if they said " If the child is not white then you and him are on your bikes."

By:
I dont like Morgan either ,yes ,he can be aloud mouth and a bully ,although that helped us all when he was hammering govt people during the pandemic ,and was largely instrumental in them changing course a few times. And he has been like a dog with a bone as far as Megan goes
but the fact that someone who questions things ,and goes against the woke media agenda has gone from our screens ,is not healthy .Are we all just supposed to believe everything anyone claims ,or any accusation of wrongdoing ? |
|
By:
The colour of his skin is irrelevant even to those who find it of interest, especially when he has to live the rest of his life in a goldfish bowl. At least within 'The Firm' he would be protected from too much media intrusion. Ploughing their own furrow doesn't help the children and they as parents should be concerned for their welfare in future years.

I'm very much with you snowymoon. He has let us all down badly. As for the claim however that we are all brainwashed by the newspapers, made earlier by brigust, it's just such a poor comment. I, like, so many others on here, form my own judgements, on so many things based on all sorts of input. Right or wrong they are all based on my own experience not on what some newspaper editor - whose opinion and job is like a tied cottage - chooses to publish in print. Equally, it is nothing but rank folly, for anyone to believe anything repeated as certain on any social media, as we have found out many, many times. And I fully agree with Historic Warwick. If something is said often enough, and not questioned, the weak-minded jump on it like it is their own certain piece of earth-shattering news.
Even people I disagree with on here have a lot of genuine opinion, which I value, but it is like anything else - get info, take advice, consider and make your own mind up. Good luck to all as we enter a world which in my view is going to be a whole lot worse than 1984. |

well designed plan to publicise his new role with andrew niel most likely
was at the end with Breakfast tv regardless as for megan and harry , classless timing tbh but not a thing you can say given the race and mental health cards are down im positive in time harry will really regret the release at a time his gran is pushing 100 and his grandpa is pretty ill in hospital , no winners in this airing of dirty laundry and no going back , a rift that will only widen as both paties will continue to fire shots palace as bad , releasing bullying investigation 2 days before interview tbh in the tit for tat soap opera , planned and pre meditated timing from our moral compass |

Harry and Merkle starting to look like a John and Yoko...

If someone picks a fight with you, you really should fight to win.

Disagree with that comment ;I rather liked John and Yoko.

Piers be on Oprah next week telling her about his "suicidal thoughts" after getting sacked & his "perception" (totally unfounded) of why he was sacked ...
|
|
By:
then Oprah will be on someone elses show the week after ,about feeling suicidal about online abuse after speaking to Megan Harry and Piers .

never forget..even Adolf has his supporters.

He was an idoit and made it look like some schoolboy with a crush. On the other side of the coin............leave Meghan alone, she is not at fault, it is her
spinless husband. He/She is making a nice coin at the expense of his family (I am anti royal, however he seems two faced) which seems cheap. The money paid to Oprah and the coin they will make out of it shows where we are going in this World. Not that many moons ago he felt sorry for himself when the papers had the Nazi Picture. He could have the Royal Family awhile ago.......maybe he had not made enough out of the titles. |

Did Oprah ask Meghan whether she thought of the video featuring Harry referring to ragheads was racist?
