haydock doesnt look any faster
By:
the blink of an eye thats about it
By:
Aye, lv is faster than sky but not any more than usual, about .4
By:
maybe .6 actually, so .2 faster than normal but nowhere near trial speeds or as fast as limerick yesterday
By:
Timed every jump so far bang on .7 ahead.
Maybe next year lads. |
By:
I get it about 0.65
By:
it's about the same as it has been for the last 6 months imo
By:
same here dusty, .65
ludlow the same as haydock.....only .3 faster than normal.......limerick was faster yesterday, not good enough |
By:
not noticing much of a difference myself...
might be slightly quicker... but nowhere near what i'd hoped for... i think the original trial speed was 0.5 secs behind 'live'... this ain't... |

Mr.Hunt has had a word with his great wonderful human being mates...
and the REVERSE button has been pressed. |
By:
"how can we get away with this and keep the fast pic boys happy, we have to do something after they seen the trial speeds"
"lets just speed it up slightly so they think weve done it and the fast pic boys can still have it easy" |

confirmation blv is indeed 0.6 ish behind live. ---------------------------------------------------- ![]() ![]() ![]() |
By:
I was too hungover to make the first at Haydock but Ludlow isn't further ahead than usual
By:
Maybe the telly pictures have speeded up too?
No idea how that could be done, mind you. |
By:
0.6s
about that behind FT I'd have thought Which Might not be that surprising given the trial was apparently sent from the track rather than being routed to HQ first for the graphics It will still unsettle the FT boys and make them take more risk |
By:
and all this the day spectators are allowed back on track as if it wasnt dodgy enough, some timing
By:
Its missing the .2 from trial yesterday which would put it .6 behind raw feed. So about .8 now.
By:
Bootman is there a reason for the RTV clock 2.5 seconds behind LV
By:
exeter was faster on their 2 race trial last week, 1 second faster than sky so .35 faster than the new speeds today
wheres the extra .3 from exeter last week and limerick yesterday went? |
By:
exeter was 1s ahead on LV last week?
You sure? I tend to have both RTV and BLV open on every race and the odd discrepency I might overlook, but 1s Id notice |
By:
3 in a box at haydock today. guy said its blv is .7 .8 behind live
By:
first 2 races dusty, was a thread about it
By:
Yeah I independently thought there might have been a very slight difference but never timed it, then I think it was pabs who commented on it
But it wasnt 1s imo |

HAPPYDAYS

By:
still say theres .3 to go to get to trial speeds and .2 from limerick yesterday
see what kempton/dundalk like this evening |
By:
well done thebootman for all your efforts in trying to speed up the pics you're about 2 strides behind now ie 0.7/0.8s so i think thats a massive change in the right direction to make in running fairer for everyone on ruk tracks just need ATR to get their pics speeded up now.

Does everyone stop and look if somebody coughs?
By:
Strange how the new lay price is up in the box when the leader is still on its feet there before falling and is a 1s delay to bets going in....0.8 hmmmm
By:
Yeah I independently thought there might have been a very slight difference but never timed it, then I think it was pabs who commented on it
But it wasnt 1s imo yes dusty it was me . it's on the old RTV speeding up thread i couldn't time it but the difference between live video and sky was definitely quicker and more noticeable than now, but it could be that sky RTV has sped up as well today |
By:
you don't seriously think everyone has a 1 sec delay do you IMS...???
By:
Who do I see to get mine taken off? ty
By:
absolutely no idea IMS...
but i still have not heard a reasonable explaination for it to be there... which means that if some very clever d1cks can over-ride it then they are in a very nice position indeed. |
By:
the one second delay is in place as the market makers want it there .
apparently the market makers are the ones providing the liquidity , so without the delay , they may turn off there bots and liquidity would be dire i don't think anyone can bypass the delay though ( except betfair themselves ) |
By:
the 1 sec delay for the masses is crucial for the betfair bot/cross matching software to function
By:
i think there are some very clever people out there pablo...
nowt surprises me in cyber land. |
By:
the 1 sec delay for the masses is crucial for the betfair bot/cross matching software to function
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- i admit i don't have all the facts... but i don't see the connection in all honesty. |

DUNDALK BLV click of a finger ahead of ch426 here...
very poor. |
