If runners are going 1.03 when in fourth consistently then that suggests the markets are working well enough for some, nobody continually burns money for the hell of it.
Which is also the case for those who see it happen, why would they continue to bet when they can see they have little chance. All the other factors are as nothing compared to the lack of liquidity.
