Since the product is a 'remote' gambling facility and is clearly devised to encourage betting, its even called 'Watch and Bet' product. |

That was just the gap Greeny screen went blank only to reappear when outcome decided what hope is there when they continue to do this for the BLV players fkn shambles delays blackout pictures or Benny Hill pictures and yes I know Dusty but surely this is illegal as you said before we are all being robbed time and time again can’t be right for Betfair to allow this to happen

Without exaggerating, 90%+ of the big pauses I get on sky lv are when its a head bobber in the straight between 2 or 3 horses
If one is clear and theres no real betting opportunities its usually always smooth with no pausing |

I get that concern dusty, but all these organisations currently letting us down know that they gain benefit from the interest that IR provides and it would never happen, but until the point they are put under scrutiny they will continue to treat us like ****

Except Im not entirely sure the GC would see much difference if IR was banned or allowed to continue, since they do nothing regards its integrity at present so costs them nothing. The attempted to defend themselves last year but looked poor in doing so, they implied they need more funding if they are to do the job the public want...and that a survey that reported 43% of the public apparently wanted more done to clean up gambling, and Id have a large amount on that hardly any of those canvassed had a single clue as to what goes on IR. |

if you were in control of the Gc..how would you absolutely guarantee that everyone had the same speed pictures...ie noone with an edge.

You would have to make them identical, but technology is sufficiently good and widely available that it wouldnt be difficult.
You would investigate what margin of error is required to stop people paying for an advantage. Id say it would be around a = +/- of around 0.5s. Ive explained the rest before. All media is regulated by the GC with a standard that has to be adherred to, an inspector could turn up at any time and investigate that standard is being kept....if not fines or a loss of license. All distribution of gambling media requires a license...if they dont have one, as with drones they get fined. The legislation is already there in the Gambling Act to do it. |

For a start I would tell the racecourses they cannot implement a delay in pictures to feed there own gains by selling fast pic boxes to the selected few I understand as it stands RTV have to comply with the racecourses on what delay they impose on there pictures hence impossible to bet on certain tracks Newmarket Kempton etc we all know the unplayable ones surely this single issue would make the markets a lot more competitive and benefit everyone

Im not sure there is anything specifically in the Act that says a bookie cant close an account. They might argue its not being fair and transparent.
But theres very specidic wording about what is considered facilitating betting, and what is considered 'remote' and where something that is both of those needs to be a betting only product. Well LV and on course pics are all those things. So it all leads back to the first 2 objectives: They must make betting under those pretences fair, and that they must stop crime related activity that result from them. |

the only hope right now is to wait for courses to be fully open and facetimers to come back and make droners lose some value, I doubt it will change anything, but without them we have nothing as I am 95% sure streams will be like that for the rest of the life
