Only 12 grand in the place market at Musselburgh says it all really very sad times come on RTV speed up your pictures before it all ends and you loose lots of subscriptions
By:
Subscribers doh
By:
will be interesting when the track players return in the boxes (no doubt some already have)
Will they be able to continue with the drones scooping the lot |
By:
Prices will be competitive I bet
By:
The box players are probably the lionshare of the drone customers today
They wont be paying for both |
By:
A lot will be ex facetimers as well, facetime will return as well when the get back inside
By:
so you will have box players, facetimers and drones ahead of a 1.5 to 2 second live video at sky tracks, good luck with that
Be rtv tracks only. Think they (rtv lv) will speed up when crowds return in may |
By:
It would make ATR tracks the ugly sister if they did.
That economy would be interesting to watch collapse |
By:
I think u r right Dusty. With the expense of going on track i guess a lot of them may not return especially with the expense they have had in buying a decent drone. Will tracks have to reduce the prices that they charge for the boxes ? If i was a box holder i would feel that the time is right to ask for significant reductions.
By:
Reducing prices would be tacit agreement that the only value of the hospitality was the artificial advantage they provided to those paying them to abuse the market.
By:
Whatever happens it’s going to be interesting can’t see the drone boys just walking away hopefully we will get faster pictures but my gut feeling is we won’t to many people making lots of money out of us
By:
Surely if a racecourse wants to hire out their boxes as an income stream , its up to them ? As long as people are not breaking the law within those boxes and the racecourse is happy , whats the problem ?
By:
Because the ruse has always been that the courses have pretended to distance themselves from the abuse, that they feigned ignorance to such activities.
How else could they justify a price cut when they have had no revenue for a year? |
By:
ling blv -3.2
By:
I cant answer that question , as i dont consider it as abuse . I went on track pre 2013 and stepped away because basically i was not good enough . The travel and expense etc was not worth it for me as to what i was making . I have no issue with anyone doing though and being successful . and i never for a moment thought i was abusing anyone !

its because theres a dozen welsh lads playing on the hotel balcony Writz
By:
I think it would look an awful lot like being unambiguously complicit sludge. The GC said it was permissable because the boxes were not sold as trading rooms. How could they be hospitality if the price is dictated by the provision of illicit ofcourse pictures?
It would be yet another bad look for racing to have to deal with. |
By:
Cheers RMc believe it or not got a bet on at the last race looked up at my screen in disbelief lol
By:
What an utter waste of time and space flat racing is on ATR with these sorts of delays.
By:
You know it's tough when you cant get a back bet on the losers
By:
Look at the list of tracks Swaddle me and you said about it doesn’t get much better through the summer nowadays think it’s here to stay as RTV doing the dirty on us too not much of a chance as we are bottom of the ladder

rampton currently overflowing with guests due to betting in the last 3f...
By:
dusty still casting stones onto the fast pic players whilst still displaying insouciance re himself purchasing the facetime pics...
unbelievable hypocrisy. |
By:
greenie never pissed straight in his life and refuses to accept how genuine market economics works
He wants to be ahead of you at all cost |
By:
Things because he tries hard to get exclusive advantage that that justifies it
Like insider trading is fair if you do a few laps around the block first |
By:
norman wisdom film..the early bird.
good watch. |
By:
So do you purchase access to the boxes for hospitality or to facilitate betting on something before everyone else sees it?
By:
If I was in the position to buy faster pics I would and so would anyone else who does IR my problem is not with the people who do this it’s with the broadcasting companies and BHRA knowingly letting this to continue when we all know with today’s technology it could be a even playing field or a lot closer to a even playing field but until this happens if it ever will I will just dodge the dreaded tracks and continue to claim my crumbs left over from the privileged few
By:
Its about the licensed courses making out they do one thing while doing another. And users of the facilities who claim everyone else is a hypocrite for negating that injustice.
By:
but,it was acceptable when you yourself were on the hunt for quick pictures..but isnt when i do?
By:
I never tried getting ahead of people, I was offsetting the artificial advantage created by the course selling the position for the purpose of betting rather than use as hospitality.
By:
Isnt that gettin ahead of people dusty ?
