i was speaking to someone involved in a racing syndicate, traders cricket full time on here says its the press boxs at most track but they might not be the only ones with an advantage most tracks the feed is live you would be a mug not to take advantage thou if you had live pictures.

Do you know if you go to the hotel at various tracks if the live feed is fed into the hotel rooms, boga?
I'm talking specifically about Wolves but maybe there  are other hotels based at tracks?

its always been known that the pressroom get the same pics as the boxes and probably part of the reason why they say nothing about this 20 year scandal, but boga are you saying that the raw feed is now being sent straight from track to journos etc working from home and any other 'officials' doing similar in these covid times ?

Boga - I doubt if it's the press boys, according to both the BHA and Tom Kerr it's strictly banned in the press room. That said plenty other areas on track where the feed is available.

that's what he explained to me I was a bit skeptical at first by it sounds true to me now, he said it was happening at the legar meeting this year. 10 years ago press box feed was live in horse racing am not sure now but it must still go on at some courses surly. he was telling me about the cricket as well during the restart markets moving with tv pictures level playing field a month later prices moving 3 seconds before you see it at home 100% the press box. that the million dollar question who has the fast feed if its not the press box in horse racing?

Last was shocking towards the end, too.  As you say, was decent until the later races.

this ia why i question it being the bandwidth thing as this race 12.30 ans the next being 1pm you have got to think the video use is at it's quietest right now.

New day, same garbage. Do Betfair think this is acceptable to their clients who are risking huge sums while having to watch this pathetic 'live stream'. I doubt they give a toss otherwise something would have been done weeks ago.

i was told that there is a problem with ATRs content delivery network which ATR know about for the last few weeks, but they  haven't found the problem yet .

guess we just have to wait until they fix it

i don't think it is a betfair problem btw

I don't think anybody thinks it's a BF problem, TBF, PF.  I think we're all just hoping they might be able to lean on them to expedite the finding of a solution.

Got Crosby's greatest hits on in the background to numb the pent up aggression we're all feeling.

i agree latalamne , betfair should be piling the pressure on . i think they are in a position of take it or don't so probably don't want to rock the boat too much

lol hibby just trying a bit of "sherlocking" as i am adament we will all have a rce today that runs fine, interested to know if jame's runs smooth when that comes.
i'm still of a mindset certain areas/providers are being boosted on a race by race basis to tryt an appease the masses.
