Those were the days when genuine opinion was placed on here, a few fantasists as well of course but I would say that in general folk dont put their opinions on here any more because of the knockers who turn up after the event.
1.00 Taken 4.1 about Lady Cecilia, 3lb claimer takes her back to below her winning mark of a couple of races ago, if the ground dries out I'm trading out. 1.30 Eye Up Its Mick, 2.6 about this one who won nicely last twice, half stake on at 2.6 and looking for 3.05 in running (hold up horse). |

12.15 Utt -- Fav looks short at around even money. El Borracho 6/1 has almost as good jumps form as the fav (Captain Tom Cat). Ironically these two horses ran in different divisions of the same Southwell novice hurdle a fortnight ago. EB's flat form also looks good enough to win one of these moderate hurdles.
12.30 Ham -- All About Charley 10/1 has been nibbled in the market. Her form figures for her only two races are depressing but have a closer look at her debut when she was only fifth and you could throw a proverbial horse blanket over them. There is only a length between the first five home. |

Some for today, first for the MJ haters,
1.40 Beverley Anyonecanhaveitall, MJ has a fair record, if inconsistent at this course, 3.2 taken, a 4 year old, that can still improve, lay off of 1.41 for half stake and 1.18 for the other half. 2.40 Beverley, Beanski, was winning class 2's last year looks to be running into form and might have won last time but for not getting first run and was closest at the finish, 2.92 taken. 5.15 Kilbeggan, Make My Heart Fly, back over hurdles having won a chase last time out, GE sorm with these switchers is patchy but can be good, no price taken yet but hoping to get around 4.2 or better and will lay off at lower for a 1.5 pts freebie 6.45 Kilbeggan, another GE runner, Golden Nomad, would have been a lot closer in a better race here a week ago over course and distance but for a mistake two out, 3.95 taken, lay off at 1.43. 8.35 Leicester the lucky last, Petit Bay won easily over shorter last time, longer distance may suit and just two turf runs so maybe more to come? 2.86 and 2.9 taken. Have a cracker whatever you're on. |

12-35 The grey Bay 3/1 - Been knocking on the door good draw 3/1 fair price. 1-30 Limerick Giorgio Vasari 2/1 - Good debut run with winner getting beat a length carrying big weight yesterday, back to 6 furlong with headgear on- if it settles goes close imo. GL all. |
