The 'easy money' has long gone as the margin between first and last seing something happen has diminished.
It means that there less money hanging around to mop up as others have seen what others have around the same time
The ones at the track see it fractionally ahead...so take advantage of that fact

But nobody truely knows the algorithm as to how much cut the bot has out of each matched bet
All you see different, in my view between on and off course is that you catch people who havnt seen what you have

steve, haven't read all the thread but would I be correct in saying that the bots would catch up with the fast pics eventually?

the whole ir game is governed by bots stew..soon as you knock the % out of sync it calculates the overounds in millisecs and dishes out what it deems necessary.

hence the dozens of pennie matches.

Personally, I don't think the bot is the issue.
Happy to take the bot on on a level playing field pic wise, betfair need to get the fast lv out then we all have a good chance imo

I don't know much about all this, but wouldn't it stop if BF totally banned 1p bets? It seems
unfair that the bots can use 1p markers up and down the scale so that they can detect every
bit of activity without having to risk anything. If all those were £2 they'd be getting it

One thing I have noticed, is the Exchange doesn't 'like' me backing a selection and simultaneously laying the field. The lay bets only get matched at or very near to the price requested. I only get matched at better odds on the back part of the bet, or if I chode to back or lay, but not both
Hope that makes sense... but something is not as it should be
