nothing,there are another 135 gambling companies on the net that take my bets,so i still lose,but why is it only betfair that block.

i agree 11kv it magically appears but the price changes with their bots when i refresh.

the winner was the horse i wanted to lay,so bottom line is betfair get slim as purple get fatter,and that has to happen all over the wider spectrum of gambling,i can not be the only guy that this is happening to.
its not good for business,and gamblers do not like when gambling companies frustrate them.They will go where the are welcome ,and a bigger problem is that the welcoming gambling companies know exactly what is happening and are rolling out the red carpet with bonus bets and free bets to the new anticipated customers.And there is only one way this story will end for the once greatest gambling company.

when i place a bet, the betting window freezes ,if i refresh the page or try to edit the bet,the bot kicks in adding or subtracting lumps on the price of the horse.
once i click on" place bet "it freezes"refresh or edit are the only way out of the freeze .

AND google from time to time flash up that betfair is an unsecure site.

Never heard of a problem whereby the screen freezes as you place the bet.

it just locks.and its only £5 bets that i try to place.
its only on the betfair site that it happens,on the exchange markets,football on exchange markets no problem,but american racing and Australian racing is getting blocked.

Many of his 'issues' make no sense whatsoever - and defy comprehension,

no, what's happening is you keep starting threads without PROPERLY explaining your issue, you don't read replies that are offered you just keep ranting

why start multiple threads when one will do? people will help you but you for the most part are making it impossible

1. clear cookies
2. try another browser, so if on fox try edge etc
3.simple refresh of the page usually sorts loading
4.check you have pop ups not blocked on the browser you are using if they won't load peoperly
5. don't start another fecking thread on the same topic

none of your 5 point plan solves the problem,it is frozen for the bot to change ,thats the problem ,normally the bot would hop when you submit the bet,but the bot is sticking and the page freezes until the bot changes,this can take 10 seconds.so the page reacts 10 seconds after the bot and it will not match  at anytime on submission even if there is thousands for the horse,until the bots cut or increase price to suit.i could place 20 at 3.2 to win.when i submit the 3.2 remains and the page freezes,the price can go 3.15 ,3.1.3.05 and the bet will not submit in at 3.2 (unmatched).the price could go 3.3 3.4 3.5,but the bet will still not match,it will not release until the price goes down to 3,then it releases,and allows me to take 3 .and when i try to take 3 it goes into another cycle at 2.8 price,but the freezing is delaying a full minute each price jump.but it intermittent cycle and if i try to move to another race i get grand gesture page of WHERE IS EVERYBODY.

In simple terms the bot is too slow and the page freezes and will not match at any price until it suits the bot.
even if i place 20 at 2.5 and the price goes to 4.5 it will not match.

it's not a bot brassneck, you clearly have a pc issue, if you have tried changing browser, then try a different pc, failing that try broadband instead of dial up

i put 50 quid on a horse to win last night and placed it at 8.2,the horse price  went to 9, 10,11,12, 14,16,  and the bet was still frozen i could not release it,it then came back in to 14,12,10,8,7,it matched at 7 and the hopped to 34 ,this was 20 minutes before the race ,the horse was last home.

I feel the continued discussion will only prove that one of us mental, i'd rather leave you to it in the hope that it's not me, ciao

Your right brassneck lot of problems i lay 7 days a week manually and multiple lays, for weeks not working like it used to.sp lay boxes are virtually blank and don't show any default stake in boxes like used to,and the default stake boxes do not show on page at all even after loading again in the setting menu, which  takes a lot longer for me,i do Aussie racing at night and when on British horse racing. i reported it but to no avail very frustrating.

yours isn't the same problem as his, yours sounds like your settings have been changed, on a market page have you clicked settings towards top right, then see if the betview is set to £2, also there's a default tick box, mess about with the settings until you get where u were b4

im using fox and edge and seeing no issues with markets or betting if i use the main site, the only regular problem is the 404 error when a new mkt is loaded which is cleared via a refresh

I have seen mkt settings revert to weird sometimes but not for ages, most common was the betview moving up from 2 leaving boxes empty on a market

try something else, log out, google betfair and load it from the web rather than from your favourites or normal saved start

Brassneck has had issues with BETFAIR - many that did not affect anybody else - for years now.

It is ALWAYS BETFAIR's FAULT - and, whilst conceding that there is a current Betfair issue... it is NEVER, ever, brassneck's Computer at fault - or, the operator of brassneck's computer, of course.

Now he is coming up with a barmpot conspiracy theory about a BOT -  brassneck - give us all a rest.

It is obvious that brassneck's computer is, and has been forever, as efficient as cardboard box trying to hold back a raging river.

brassnerck's computer will undoubtedly be clogged up with that much carp - probably through him b&ggering about with it, whilst having no idea what he is doing - that it has become, and has been for a long time now, as slow as a tortoise.

have a go on one of the above with the free trial, if it's a problem on the main site I've not seen anyone having problems of a similar issue on the api it might get you through a few weeks until a fix is sorted

the only other thing that's happened recently is there was a big Microsoft update, just wondering if it's worth rolling back to a pre update point and seeing if the issues disappear?

Googled Betfair then logged on,went into settings again unticked default boxes then ticked still does not show on bottom of page like it was,eg three boxes with what amount you set in each they then showed that liability in the sp lay section which now remains blank goodnight for now.
