the winner was the horse i wanted to lay,so bottom line is betfair get slim as purple get fatter,and that has to happen all over the wider spectrum of gambling,i can not be the only guy that this is happening to.
its not good for business,and gamblers do not like when gambling companies frustrate them.They will go where the are welcome ,and a bigger problem is that the welcoming gambling companies know exactly what is happening and are rolling out the red carpet with bonus bets and free bets to the new anticipated customers.And there is only one way this story will end for the once greatest gambling company.  |

when i place a bet, the betting window freezes ,if i refresh the page or try to edit the bet,the bot kicks in adding or subtracting lumps on the price of the horse.
once i click on" place bet "it freezes"refresh or edit are the only way out of the freeze . |

it just locks.and its only £5 bets that i try to place.
its only on the betfair site that it happens,on the exchange markets,football on exchange markets no problem,but american racing and Australian racing is getting blocked. |

brassneck has more problems with Betfair - than ALL the OTHER users combined. Many of his 'issues' make no sense whatsoever - and defy comprehension, He also has more problems with his massive collection of computers (his claim not mine) than the rest of the global population put together. Whenever I have pointed this out to him in the past - over many years - on his many similar posts he has accused me of being a Betfair EMPLOYEE. brassneck is either a complete computer numpty, and fruitcake, to boot ... - or he is the Forum's finest Fisherman - - as he does start some very pertinent Threads on Chi-Chat ... even if, though, they can often be David Icke(ish)  The choice is yours. |

i read frank ra's thread,it fecking proves that i was not the only person complaining,and frank was not abused,but you are correct some people do not read the threads,right is right,and wrong is wrong,and no matter how many disagree with me,i still have my right to air my views .but there seems to be a gang that gang up against me,guys that post and then never come back to the forum.

no, what's happening is you keep starting threads without PROPERLY explaining your issue, you don't read replies that are offered you just keep ranting
why start multiple threads when one will do? people will help you but you for the most part are making it impossible |

1. clear cookies
2. try another browser, so if on fox try edge etc 3.simple refresh of the page usually sorts loading 4.check you have pop ups not blocked on the browser you are using if they won't load peoperly 5. don't start another fecking thread on the same topic |

none of your 5 point plan solves the problem,it is frozen for the bot to change ,thats the problem ,normally the bot would hop when you submit the bet,but the bot is sticking and the page freezes until the bot changes,this can take 10 seconds.so the page reacts 10 seconds after the bot and it will not match at anytime on submission even if there is thousands for the horse,until the bots cut or increase price to suit.i could place 20 at 3.2 to win.when i submit the 3.2 remains and the page freezes,the price can go 3.15 ,3.1.3.05 and the bet will not submit in at 3.2 (unmatched).the price could go 3.3 3.4 3.5,but the bet will still not match,it will not release until the price goes down to 3,then it releases,and allows me to take 3 .and when i try to take 3 it goes into another cycle at 2.8 price,but the freezing is delaying a full minute each price jump.but it intermittent cycle and if i try to move to another race i get grand gesture page of WHERE IS EVERYBODY.

In simple terms the bot is too slow and the page freezes and will not match at any price until it suits the bot.
even if i place 20 at 2.5 and the price goes to 4.5 it will not match. |

it's not a bot brassneck, you clearly have a pc issue, if you have tried changing browser, then try a different pc, failing that try broadband instead of dial up

i put 50 quid on a horse to win last night and placed it at 8.2,the horse price went to 9, 10,11,12, 14,16, and the bet was still frozen i could not release it,it then came back in to 14,12,10,8,7,it matched at 7 and the hopped to 34 ,this was 20 minutes before the race ,the horse was last home.
