Just have a bet on the 1730 at Tampa Bay and donate any winnings to the NHS. No limits on here.

This will tarnish the bookmaker industry for good.

23 nights.....It's not me who is crying about a bookmaker bet on a cartoon race. As for the NHS we can all argue to pay more tax as I have always done.

theyd be better showing the legend race as main race

Sparrow what part don’t you get, the uk general public to bet £10 to go to charity and for then to have a distraction and a bit of fun, and restrictions to £1 ew and 10p each way, Betfred prob the worst, but praise for William hill not refusing £10 bets, as for the rest sure betfair sportsbook take on the race will contribute to the nhs all house 10p’s, a disgrace

rue.....I couldn't care less about bookmaker betting as I see no point in moaning about them week in and week out. That is what I "don't get" as you put it.

Hi guys, I would like to know whether I have got shafted by Betfair... not being a bad loser or anything :)

I was allowed to bet £50 WIN on Bristol De Mai at 20s and £50 WIN on Death Duty at 50s at about 2pm on the day. I learn after the fact that the max bet was £10? Was this enforced by The Gambling Commission as I would like to know whether I have been done in!

Cheers.

Miskin,

Sportsbook only allowed a maximum tenner win (or EW) stake per horse on the race in line with the high st bookmakers. There was a disclaimer directly about the box where entered your stake. I bet 3 horses win/EW in the race and got paid.

'miskin8', ask for £40 back on each of your 2 selections. If you'd won you'd not have been paid out on £50 (stake), but only £10. If you cannot win, you cannot lose either - that's my motto.

The irony is how did you manage to get on £50 each when most were offered £10 (maximum) or less? No book was allowed on The Exchange either to prevent profiteering by bookie.

Thanks guys, I just spoke to one of the lemmings on chat. The guy initailly tried to say that the bet was fine and valid until I shoved this in his face- https://bettingandgamingcouncil.com/uncategorized/nhs-grandnational/.... He's now passed on my complaint on to management :D :D :D

I'll update when I get a reply in '24-72 hours'

Cheers.

Can NHS accept charitable donations from bookmakers?

I'm sure there will be an exception made given race was dedicated to the NHS, and unprecedented time.
