if your account is restricted its restricted get over it.
also i think a tenner is fair, i never defend bookies as i know they've vile but you lot would be the
first to go mad if you heard stories of people losing thousands on the virtual national

its the only time your going to catch em with there pants down, we punters have the edge by a big way, we could give them serious damage if they didnt limit stakes

Surprised at so much interest on here in an imaginary contest. Good for the charity of course but nevertheless...............

but unless they throw a outsider in its very predictable, the criteria they use is quite easy talking of algorithms is boll  ...ks just previous results fom last 10 years weight, age, going, distance, winning recent form they will be teams taking advantage here and hopefully will donate some winning to nhs courtesy from the bookies
us punters have a massive advantage for once and they know it lol

I wouldn't expect people to put thousands on a virtual (considering a few know the result already), but I would expect to get the tenners on that they are promoting. When stakes are limited to pennies surely everyone can see how that looks?

To be fair I got on for my old man and a mate with Will Hill no problem and the account is restricted. PP and Betfair are a just a complete joke, the restrictions they have on many accounts must be costing them a pretty penny in the long run.

i was talking about already restricted accounts, totally agree with you all if its also happening on unrestricted accounts.

one for the tabloids, all money going to frontline NHS workers and Betfair not allowing people to bet the full £10 is ABSOLUTELY SCANDALOUS, whether you're restricted otherwise or not ...

restricted from betting on a cartoon race, have you ever heard anything so fkng ridiculous in your life !!

RESTRICTED ACCOUNTS, fair enough on people wanting a few hundred on a seller at ripon etc when it looks dodgy, but how the hell can any firm justify that i cannot have 1 pence on any team to win euro  2021 soccer,in fact  not a penny on any sport.

how the hell can any firm justify not taking money that will be used to help fight the c19 virus ?  whoever made that decision needs locking up ...

Complaining about not getting enough on a cartoon race is even funnier.

For charity or not, anybody betting more than a couple of quid needs to admit they have a serious problem.

i'd like to give you £10 so another nurse doesn't have to die.

.... we've had a chat, we'll take £2.78

wouldn't it have been a nice touch to say we're lifting all restrictions for the charity race in order to raise as much as possible for frontline NHS workers who are giving their lives fighting the virus ?

showing their true colours - do not give a fk about anyone ...

I was trying to get a bet on for my old man and also a mate, my old man wanted a huge fiver on and my mate wanted a tenner each way. I got offered £1.79 maximum, others have been getting offered less than that. If you think that is fair then that is your view. I would have thought they would try and get as many tenners as possible and have a better donation for the NHS. I don't think anyone is complaining about not being able to get £100 each way on something in the poxy race.

Somerset, it's also being used as a way to raise money for the NHS.  What part of that do you not get ??

Somerset Sam - what a self righteous ****.  I think it's great that a family will sit down, watch a grand national and have a few quid on just like a charity race night without any possibility of fatalities to the horses or injuries to the jocks.  To not allow the max bet of £10 e/w really irritates me because it's fun, it's what has been promised and it's for charity.  But of course that point of view suggests I have a "serious problem."  I actually think they should have done the same with the other nostalgic race they are doing.  I am in a privileged position to know how much a betting firm is taking on this and it's incredibly promising numbers.  Hopefully it's a massive success.

So a 10p max bet for some is fine in your opinion?

I get they don't want to take bets on actual racing due to the clueless way they are ran by software, but a cartoon race for charity... They are so scared of taking bets nowadays from many punters it is laughable. I wanted an ew yankee for next years Cheltenham Festival and between Betfair and Paddy I got offered a maximum total stake (per line) of 21p. They should be snapping your hands off for Antepost bets nearly a year away!
